It’s already all the rage on Twitter, Facebook, and just about everywhere else …but we felt compelled to mention it as well. Black Tuesday is back! Brewed by The Bruery out of Placentia, CA, Black Tuesday is their monster 20% ABV, pitch black imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels for over a year. Now in its second year, Black Tuesday was unleashed upon an unsuspecting world for the first time last year and took the beer world by storm. It was also a featured beer in Issue 8 of Mutineer Magazine. For the inaugural release, seekers of Black Tuesday would wait hours in line, offer their first born child for a bottle, or spend their entire paycheck to acquire one on eBay. The Bruery Is Preparing To Release The 19.5% Black Tuesday Beer

Reminiscent of that dark, gloomy day in October 1929 that shook the world twice over, Black Tuesday, the beer, is causing widespread panic of its own. The beer that has been talked about for months is nearing reality as it is prepared to be released the final Tuesday of October. As was the Black Tuesday of 1929, this sucker is mean and it means business at a mind blowing 19.5% alcohol by volume. A beer so volatile, the only way to keep the general population safe at night was to confine it to bourbon barrels and hide them in a dark room to rest for over a year before being unleashed on an unsuspecting world.
