Music + Starbucks = Very Cool

Tuesday was a great day for music with U2’s No Line on the Horizon and Neko Case’s Middle Cyclone both being released. First off, Mutineer Graphics Correspondent Jordan Luckman bought both albums at Starbucks, which is very cool by itself. He already had a track for the Neko Case album via a “Pick of the Week” card from Starbucks, which he acquired the week before at Starbucks, giving him free access to “People Got a Lotta Nerve” on iTunes. Chewbacca, Jack Bauer, and Walker Texas Ranger Join the Mutiny

Did you see the Mutineer post about the gun that shoots alcohol? The actual gun looks like a cross between a Star Trek phaser and a suppository injector, so Mutineer graphics whiz Jeff created the Mutineer Magazine Special Edition Alcohol Shotgun of the gun. It is this prototype that has now juxtaposed into photographs of the following American patriots: Chewbacca, Jack Bauer, and Chuck Norris. Six Flags Texas Tries to Sell Beer, SoberTexas Forecasts Human Extinction

I came across a story today about beer potentially being approved for sale at Six Flags in Texas. According to Dallas News, “…Six Flags is only selling beer at six restaurants. You can’t walk around the park with it. You can’t buy more than one beer at a time. The park won’t start selling suds before noon and will shut down beer sales two hours before closing.See the full post »
