Sonoma is the place to be this weekend for the 3rd annual Gay Wine Weekend. Saturday night features one of the most awesome events ever to come to wine country, the Twilight T-Dance at Atwood Ranch with proceeds going to support Face to Face Sonoma County AIDS network. The evening begins with the VIP reception with delicious treats from Kinyon Catering, Cheese from Sheana Davis at the Epicurean Connection, freshly shucked oysters from The Oyster Girls and of course lots, and lots of wine.
At the dance itself there will be two amazing food trucks and many local wines to taste in the beautiful old barn. The Farmer’s Wife truck will be specializing in grilled cheese and artisan meats. The Me So Hungry truck has a delicious array of sliders from Hawiian-style to pulled short rib. It is a good thing there will be dancing, because after all of the awesome food and wine you will need to shake it. And shake it you will, while listening to awesome dance music at the edge of the vineyard as the sun goes down. So, come and check it out, and be sure to look for me! I will be the one dancing with a grilled cheese in one hand and a glass of sauvignon blanc in the other.

I will be discussing why Mutineer believes it is important to support Gay Wine Weekend and the LGBT community with Gary Saperstein and Mark Vogler on their show “On Air” tonight. Tune in to KSVY 91.3 between 8:00pm-9:00pm tonight. Check it out!
