A few months ago we told you about the Kickstarter project for the Savino wine preservation system. Last month I had the chance to sit down with founder Scott Tavenner and get a demo of his Savino and I was amazed at how simple and easy the idea was. It reminded me of methods used to keep certain foods–like sauerkraut–away from the air during fermentation.
