Auction Napa Valley is here! Napa Valley’s iconic annual event has started with their 2012 Auction Napa Valley E-Auction, which offers 149 incredible lots of Napa Valley wine and unique Napa Valley experiences. The E-Auction makes it possible or anyone to join the festivities, regardless of their local.
For those attending this year, on Friday they will have the opportunity to taste and bid on nearly 100 barrel lots at Jarvis Winery, featuring some of the best wines from the biggest names in Napa Valley.
If that still doesn’t quite do it for you, the famed Live Auction Day at Meadowood will. The most over-the-top, incredible lots will go up in live bidding. World class wine coupled with everything from a private performance from Lady Antebellum to trips to France will go under the gavel. After bidding guests will have be treated to a meal by celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse followed by music and dancing.
Why should you bid? Since its inception in 1981, Auction Napa Valley has given more than $100 million to dozens of Napa County health, youth development and affordable housing Napa County non-profits. In 2011, Auction Napa Valley distributed $6.85 million.
