As most of our followers know, Mutineer Magazine just wrapped up an incredible comedy filled weekend in Napa and Sonoma and all for an equally incredible cause, Mutineer Magazine’s charity partner A Child’s Right. Our events were promoted through multiple print and online mediums, as well as other traditional and non-traditional approaches, social media, grassroots campaigns, and the help of our Official Bloggers.
With things finally calming down for us, Mutineer wanted to this opportunity to recognize the Official Bloggers of The Mutineer Magazine Holiday Comedy Festival. In no particular order, they are:
Brookston Beer Bulletin
Beer Speaks. People Mumble. I Write. The Brookston Beer Bulletin reports on and analyzes the beer industry from an insider’s perspective with a special emphasis on the craft beer segment. The Bulletin includes reports on new products, industry trends, opinion, exclusive news, beer reviews, festival coverage and much, much more.
Joe drank wine with a girl one time, and then she laughed at his bad jokes, so he was instantly hooked. He bought some wine books, drank a lot, and started a blog under the delusion of making money. Joe keeps fueling that delusion from the suburbs of Atlanta with his lovely wife and beautiful daughter.
Swirl Smell Slurp
Swirl Smell Slurp is He and She. We are a couple, both living in Los Angeles, whose life just happens to include a lot of wine. We are also designers. He is an architect and web designer, She a graphic designer and artist. Need a website, house, wine cellar, wine label, or anything else designed?
Ward is the West Coast Ambassador & Staff Blogger for WineLog.net. He will try any and all wines and tends to write about the parts of his life that include wine…like virtually all of it! He and his wife grew up in Napa and Sonoma and they still live nearby in the Bay Area.
Vintuba, a site for the wine drinker who has a thirst for the journey of discovery, not just the destination of an empty bottle. Vintuba is about the adventure of wine; the pleasure of sharing and enjoying it with friends. So join us as we meet the people, swirl and sip and feel the passion that makes the world of wine so unique and special. Who knows you might even learn something!
After an 11-year career in radio broadcasting, involving PR and photographing rock and rollers, Jo Diaz moved to California in 1992. Rather than continuing in radio, Jo segued into the wine industry. She has been in the wine industry as a publicist for 18 years now and has worked for Belvedere, Grove Street, Barefoot Cellars, Mondavi, Ironstone Vineyards, and K-J wine companies, as an employee.
W. R. Tish
W. R. Tish (known to many simply as Tish), who has been writing and speaking about wine and food for two decades. Tish spent much of that time as the editor of Wine Enthusiast, positioning it as a spunkier, funnier alternative to other wine magazines.
We would also like to thank Sara K. of Sonoma State University for her last minute grassroots campaign of getting the students of Sonoma State University excited about our comedy festival. We had a great turnout from SSU and that’s because of you!
Lastly, Mutineer Magazine would like to thank every other blogger who helped spread the word of our charity events and any Facebook posts, tweets or retweets, and any other way they may have helped get people excited about what we’re doing. And, of course, to everyone who made it out to the event to show their support, we most sincerely thank you for your support of both Mutineer Magazine and A Child’s Right. This last weekend has been a very humbling experience for Mutineer Magazine and we can’t thank you enough.
