Earlier today, Mutineer Magazine’s Brian Kropf and Ashley Routson were invited to join John Haggerty and Fred Bueltmann of New Holland Brewing Company on Episode 12 of Tapped Out Radio, where they discussed the inspiration for “Mutinous Battle Chai” and its upcoming release party at Falling Rock Taphouse during the Great American Beer Festival.
The audio podcast can be found HERE.
Want to know more about the “Mutinous Battle Chai” collaboration project? Issue 13 of Mutineer Magazine, now on newsstands, features an intimate look into the recipe development and brewing process of Mutineer’s first collaboration beer, featuring New Holland Brewing Company. Also check out the original announcement.
If you are headed to Denver for the Great American Beer Festival this month, join us on September 17th at 2pm at Falling Rock Taphouse for the official release party. The event is a fundraiser for A Child’s Right, with 100% of the proceeds of “Mutinous Battle Chai” being donated in an effort to support global water relief. And make sure to RSVP on RateBeer and Beer Advocate. (RSVP is not required for access to the event).
Special thanks to Bill Brister, Anthony Vertucci and Liz “The Beer Wench” for featuring our story on Tapped Out Radio!

It was fun being on, thanks Bill and to everyone else who joined in on the call!

Long call, but really cool story!

I agree with Natalie, it was a really long show — BUT, from a beer geek perspective it was REALLY awesome. That beer sounds really cool and I wish I could try it. You should make it again and bottle it! I would definitely pay to get my hands on some.
The segment about sour and wild yeast beers was pretty cool too. Sours are becoming very popular. Personally, I prefer malt-heavy beers — esp barrel-aged. But I also see a place for sours.
Too bad I won’t be at GABF. I want to go to you party!

DUDE. I want some of that beer!
Ya gotta make it again so the rest of us can try it!
Bill Brister | Thursday, September 2, 2010
By far the BEST show of our short 12 episode life … thanks to everyone who could make it and share their experience! Good luck at GABF and I can not wait to read all about the collaboration results and how the crowd responds to it.

Thanks again Bill, for hosting us. You guys rock. And, not gonna lie. I’ve already listened to the whole thing twice! So much great information, I felt like I needed to take notes!
