Pittsburgh, PA: Bell’s Brewing Tap Takeover

- Description: “Harris Grill will be tapping a bunch of Bell’s Brewery beers, including some firkins. $30 a person buys guided tastings of the brews by Derek Zomonski of Bell’s as well as a cheese, pork belly tacos, lobster rolls, hanger steak kebobs, desserts and more. A snippet of what will be on tap includes: Pale Ale, Two Hearted Ale from firkin, Hell Hath No Fury, Kalamazoo Stout, Amber Ale, Consecrator, Dopplebock, Oberon and the Porter. Tickets must be bought ahead of time and 48 hours advance notice is required for cancellations.”

New York City, NY: ’Very Cool Shit Event’ Shelton Brothers Take Over!

- Time: 4PM
- Description: “Come out to celebrate another night of ‘Really Cool Shit’ on tap. This is Rattle N Hum’s 3rd night out of 5 special nights leading up to their 2nd year Anniversary. A full restaurant menu is available at the bar, however, cheese and mustard will be served around 5PM. Beers on tap include Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch and Rauch Geek Breakfast, Haandbryggeriet Norwegian Wood, De la Senne Equinox and Dieu du Ciel Route des Epices. There will also be four casks.”

West Ashville, NC: Beer Dinner with Appalachian Vintner and Olde Hickory Brewing
- Location: Sunny Point Cafe
- Time: 6:30 PM
- Description: This is a do-not miss event- the menu alone is a work of art. Each course is prepared with some sort of beer in the recipe; for instance, the entree, which is “Hickory Nut Gap all natural hormone free T-Bone pork chop brined with porter and malt. Smoked with hickory and garden hops and served over a pork belly hash of fingerling potatoes, fresh rosemary, sage, early fall apples, and a lemony green bean salad.” Brews from Olde Hickory Brewing Company will be paired with the meal.

- Description: “The gang at Troegs Brewery in Harrisburg, PA are stopping in to host a truly great evening. On August 25 they will be hosting a 5 course beer dinner. These 5 courses will be paired with 5 beers from Troegs. The festivities will begin at 7pm. Tickets are $45.00. Seats are filling up so make sure to make your reservation soon.”

- Description: “Brüegala is a festival of international beer, boasting more than 200 brews from near and far. This event, held each September by the Bloomington-Normal Jaycees, is celebrating its 11th anniversary. Each year, the festival draws larger and larger crowds of cheerful beer lovers from across the Midwest. Every attendee receives a souvenir tasting glass, along with access to great beers, live music and event merchandise.”

Chattanooga, TN: 16th Annual Southern Brewer’s Festival

- Description: “This festival contains beer from over 30 southern breweries including Chattanooga Brewing Company, A1A Ale Works, Atlanta Brewing Company, Bold City Brewing, Foothills Brewing, SweetWater Brewing, and Terrapin Brewing Company. Throughout the day, music will be provided by four local bands. For those who are weary of big beer fests with little food, have no fear- vendors include Big River Grille and Brewing Works, Gene’s Philly Cheese Steaks, Kenny’s Smokehouse Barbeque and Fire and Smoke. All proceeds from this event will benefit Chattanooga’s Kids on the Block.”

Clemmons, NC: Great North Carolina Beer Festival

- Description: “The Great North Carolina Beer Festival at beautiful Tanglewood Park brings together microbrew/craft beer breweries from all across the state, region, and nation. There will be thousands of attendees gathered to celebrate the magnificent multitude of beers offered by the finest brewers in the land. Music group Kansas (among others) will provide the entertainment as 100 plus beers are served from breweries including Brooklyn Brewery, Great Lakes Brewing Co, Yuengling, Sweet Water Brewing Co, Ashville Brewing Co, Carolina Beer Company, Thomas Creek Brewery, Kona Brewing Co, Abita Beer, Blue Point Brewing Co, Magic Hat, New Belgium Brewing, Oskar Blues, Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, and more. Fun events will also be offered throughout the day, such as Cornhole, Billiards and Basketball.”

San Marcos, CA: Lost Abbey Deliverance Release
- Location: Lost Abbey/ Port Brewing

- Description: “This will be the release day for our newest barrel release — Deliverance – a blend of bourbon barrel-aged Serpent’s Stout and brandy barrel-aged Angel’s Share.” This beer will be released in 375ml cork-stoppered bottles. Since quantities are limited, there will be a maximum of 6 per person. Deliverance is a brewery only release.
