We’ve received a barrage of invites to the endless list of parties, gatherings, events, and other fine beverage celebrations that collectively make Tales of the Cocktail a legendary experience, but none have me as pumped at this one: Smoke & Honey.
The flyer says it all. You have a bear, and you have a pretty lady. The bear is clearly bringing the booze, and he looks pretty pissed off that I haven’t RSVP’d yet. Let me be clear: I want to party with that bear and his lady friend, and bears love honey, so he should be in good spirits the night of the event, which in all probability and actuality will not include ferocious bears at all but rather feature cocktails with Barenjager Honey Liqueur, Michael Collins Irish Whiskey, and Zino Platinum Master Edition 08 cigars.
Look for lots of coverage of lots of parties in the coming week as a thirsty Team Mutineer descends upon the Big Easy with fine beverage-fueled intentions, and be sure to check out the current issue of Mutineer Magazine, which is chock full of cocktail awesomeness and a New Orleans feature of epic proportions.

This is possibly the best advertising I’ve seen since Old Spice.
