If you’re planning on heading to Denver this September 16-18th for the Great American Beer Festival and you haven’t bought your tickets yet, you had better hurry. The Brewers Association reports that 70 percent of the tickets have been accounted for, with the Saturday afternoon members-only session having 97 percent of the tickets sold.
So, if you’re on the fence about going and enjoying some fine beer with like-minded individuals, now is the time to act. Besides, you don’t want to be left out when New Holland Brewing and Mutineer Magazine unveil their collaboration beer at the Falling Rock Tap House on Friday, September 17th at 2pm sharp!
Some highlights of the 2010 GABF:
- 462 Breweries total, 56 of them new
- 150 IPA’s entered into largest competition category
- Speakers: Ken Grossman of Sierra Nevada and Charlie Papazian, founder of the Great American Beer Festival
- Over 2,238 beers expected to be served
So, get on it! The 2010 GABF will prove to be an event of epic proportions and you don’t want to miss out on being a part of it. Tickets can be purchased on the Great American Beer Festival website. Not to mention, the Mutineers will be out in full force with what should be the most epic craft beer-fueled issue yet!
