Salute Beer Festival

Salute! Beer Festival
Date: June 19, 2010
Location: Ventura, California
Tickets: VIP- $135.00 & General Admission- $60.00

Copious amounts of beer and beautiful beaches — On Saturday June 19, “Salute!” will be transforming San Buenaventura State Beach in Ventura, California into a place that even Jimmy Buffet might feel compelled to call “Margaritaville.”

The First Annual Salute! to Celebrate Finely Crafted Beer & Food will feature a taste of the nation’s finest craft beers paired with a taste of the Gold Coast’s finest food. Salute!  shall present 50+ elite invited breweries alongside the best local restaurants to deliver the first of its kind premiere beer & food pairing event to honor the spirit of a festival experience that stands in a class by itself.

For all you hardcore beer geeks, two hours in advance to the actual festival (at the ripe hour of 11am), special reserve brews will be poured for a limited number of guests during The Salute! VIP Session (can anyone say breakfast beers?). VIP Tastemaker ticket holders will also have the opportunity to rub elbows with the brewers while tasting their specialty beers. And if that wasn’t cool enough, VIPs will also be free to roam the entire festival, tasting all the beers on tap, for a full hour before general admission ticket holders are allowed through the gates.

And for those unable or unwilling to spring for the VIP pass, have no fear, there will still be plentiful amounts of amazing craft beers for the general public as well as food from local restaurants and live music.

All of the event proceeds benefit Food Share, a major food bank distributing millions of pounds of food each year to those in need throughout Ventura County.

And if great beer, food and music wasn’t enticing enough, issues of Mutineer will be available to all attendees — which have been proven to improve event experiences 100% of the time. Try it for yourself. Amazing.

Oh, and make sure to check out Mutineer advertiser’s Sierra Nevada and New Belgium Brewing, which will both be pouring their brews at the event.
