Tequila Herradura Launches Exclusive Buy-the-Barrel Program

Ashley Routson / Thu, Jun 17

Emmitt Smith visits Tequila Herradura Tequila Herradura has announced the launch of its exclusive “Buy-the-Barrel” program, which is giving tequila lovers the opportunity to order their very own Herradura Double Barrel Reposado with personalized labels — including your name, the bottle number and the bottling date.

Price per barrel is roughly $10,000 and includes approximately 240 personalized bottles of specially crafted tequila aged for an extra month in a hand-picked barrel. After bottling, the barrel itself is then varnished, branded and shipped to its owner with a framed certificate of ownership.

Casa Herrandura recently welcomed Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, Emmitt Smith, to kick-off the Buy-the-Barrel program.

Emmitt Smith visits Tequila HerraduraWe are proud to introduce Casa Herradura’s first Buy-the-Barrel program, which embraces the tequila aficionado and includes them in our celebrated selection process,” said Mark Bacon, director of Casa Herradura Tequilas in North America. “We felt it was important for us, as a tequila institution, to share the art of making this fine spirit with our valued customers, such as Emmitt Smith. We believe this program provides a great opportunity to partake in an unrivaled experience with our supporters as they select a unique expression of our tequila.

So if anyone is willing to go in on a barrel, let me know. I can probably scrape up 1% of the overall cost.
