I have said it many times before and I am sure I will say it many times again, at Mutineer Magazine we love it when fine beverage companies support good causes. It gives a nice warm fuzzy feeling inside. That, and it makes us feel good about drinking those products.
IZZE Beverage Company recently announced the kick-off of its “You’ll Love What’s Inside” campaign.
As its name suggests, the campaign highlights the pureness and simplicity of its ingredients. Each bottle of IZZE simply contains 70% pure fruit juice and a splash of sparkling water. This month, several print publications and websites will be featuring images of real fruit inside the IZZE bottles. As a part of the campaign, the IZZE website will be undergoing a bit of a revamp.
Portions from the campaign will go to benefit IZZE’s long time partner, Global Education Fund. “We’re passionate about our involvement with Global Education Fund and are excited to spread the word of this important organization,” noted Brad Armistead, IZZE Director of Marketing. “Now we’re asking IZZE fans to join the movement in making a difference in the lives of children around the world.”
This year IZZE and Global Education Fund is focused on Kenya with the goal of helping to change the lives of at least 100 young people through scholarships and leadership training.
Another component of the campaign involves using Facebook to engage IZZE consumers. IZZE is asking its fans to send their friends “Sparkles” — messages that describe what’s special about their friends or “what’s on the inside.” Every “Sparkle” sent through December 31, 2010, equals a $1 donation to Global Education Fund. Although the number of “Sparkles” are unlimited, the $1 donations stop at 25K.
The IZZE website design and campaign is the brainchild of IZZE’s interactive marketing agency, Vermillion. Based out of Boulder, CO, Vermillion also works with other fine beverage brands including the Brewers Association.
