Imagine a world where on a hot summer day you could call a hotline and, within a reasonable amount of time, a motorized scooter with a refrigerator sidecar full of refreshing, ice cold beer showed up at your door.
Yes, kids. Such a world actually exists.
Netherlands based Grolsch Brewery has launched what it calls the “Cool*Season” campaign featuring the “Cool*Hotline”, which allows people to call in and trade other brands of beer for a cold can of Grolsch Premium Pilsner.
“Grolsch is a brand that marches to the beat of its own drum,” — Jan Nales, Director of Marketing. “It has its own unique taste and a passion for quality, always and everywhere. Consumers should expect a high-quality beer from us. That also means a can of Grolsch that is cold. Last year’s Cool* campaign was enormously successful. This year will have its own grand follow-up. We offer consumers new, unique and reliable solutions to keeping their cans of beer delightfully cold.”
Unfortunately, for just about everyone in the world, this campaign will not be released outside of the Netherlands. However, the scooter adventures can be tracked on both the Grolsch website and on Twitter. But, good luck trying to translate any of it.
