2010 Indy Spirits Expo
What: Meet the distillers, brand owners, importers and others who make it possible for you to enjoy a great variety of small batch, unique and artisanal spirits from around the world. (Walk around tasting features vodka, whiskey, rum, tequila, mezcal, cognac and more)
Where: Hard Rock Cafe Live Venue, Las Vegas, NV
When: April 8th, 6:30pm-9pm
Why: Partial sales from tickets go to benefit Cancer101: Cancer101 provides free “Cancer101 Ten-Year Planners” to cancer centers across the country to give to their patients and caregivers.
Costs: General Admission $50, VIP Admission $75 (Code “THRILLIST” will get 50% off ticket price)
2010 SF Vintners Market
What: This first of its kind wine tasting and buying event is a farmer’s market style shopping experience where wine enthusiasts can try and buy wines from over 200 wineries. San Francisco Vintners Market features wine at all price points and styles including new releases, library collections and end-of-vintage selections, all available for immediate purchase.
Where: Fort Mason Center, San Francisco, CA
When: April 10th-11th, 12pm-5pm
Why: Tired of going to wine tasting events, discovering great new wines and then never being able to find them again? This event was created so that consumers can finally be able to buy the wines they taste, on location.
Costs: General Admission $30, VIP Admission $75 (Code “MUTINEER” for a discount)
2010 St. Louis MicroFest
What: The St. Louis Microfest is a three-day event. Friday evening (Session I), will feature international beers; Saturday afternoon (Session II) will feature American microbreweries; Saturday evening (Session III) and Sunday afternoon (Session IV) offers a selection of international and domestic beers. The event also features live music and food for purchase from local vendors.
Where: Forest Park, St. Louis, MO
When: April 30th, May 1st-May 2nd.
Why: To benefit Lift For Life Gym — and because drinking for a cause is a good cause.
Costs: General Admission $27 (per session), $32 at the door – At each session, for an extra $15, you can purchase a VIP admission, which gives you access to the VIP Biergarten. Also, you can upgrade your small tasting glass for a commemorative pilsner glass for $10.
2010 Hospice du Rhône
What: Each year, Hospice du Rhône produces an exceptional three-day wine event, in Paso Robles, California, that is globally regarded as the single most essential and enjoyable gathering of international Rhône wine producers and enthusiasts. During the wine event, attendees expand their knowledge of the 22 Rhône varietals, while rubbing elbows with the winemakers whose passion spurs the inspiration and energy that sets the tone for every seminar, meal and tasting at the spirited affair.
Where: Paso Robles Event Center — Paso Robles, CA
When: April 29th – May 1st
Why: It is considered to be “The World’s Largest Celebration of Rhône Variety Wines” – a must attend event for all Rhône enthusiasts!
Costs: Weekend Package $795 – Passes should be purchased in advance. Admission to the seminars are available only by purchasing a Weekend Package. Seminar tickets are not sold separately. Visit the HdR Event Passes page for more information.
