Malibu Rum is pretty excited about the Malibu Drink Mixer, but all it really does is add repetitive island music to a bunch of recipes in an impractical tool I would never use to mix drinks, unless you love one-dimensional, repetitive island music.
Apparently you’re supposed to tweak the different island sounds until you find just the right island groove, then you mix your drink accordingly. Do people really consult this thing for drink recipes? I have a SWEET tool for recipes, Google “Malibu Rum Recipes”, and it brings up 104,000 hits without any lame island music. SCORE.

I was going to try this just to see how bad it was, but I couldn’t even make it past the front page. How much information do I really need to input just to get to a drink recipe site? A simple “are you over 21, yes or no” will do just fine. Maybe next time Malibu.
