CellarPass & the Modern Tasting Room Experience

Alan Kropf / Fri, Dec 18

CellarPass

A new website CellarPass is looking to make it easier to visit wine country with its new online winery reservation system. The system has a lot of depth and offers information about wineries in regions in California, Oregon, Washington, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and more. There is also information on winery events, and while this site is just getting rolling, I’m excited about its potential to help people build their own itineraries for winery trips and can’t wait to see how it develops.

From Tim Campbell, Co-founder of CellarPass:
Prior to moving to wine country, I spent many years as a visitor and knew, first hand the frustration involved in trying to make reservations at tasting rooms. It was not easy to create an itinerary for our multiple day stays, and trying to do this after normal winery hours proved near impossible. With CellarPass, that frustration is removed and it is now possible to book reservations any hour, day or night. Further, the consumer can get more information about the winery and region as they seamlessly cruise through the CellarPass Passport system. Every visitor to wine country is attracted by different points of interest, things that attract them and steer them to a particular region or winery property. Now they can search the wineries by all of these preferences; wineries with unique or notable features (architecture, organic farming, picnic grounds), look for tasting options (tours, private tastings, food pairings, barrel tastings) and of course, by varietal (cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, pinot noir).

Our goal is to ease the process of preparing a wine country visit, but more importantly, we want the visitor to arrive at a winery that they have selected based on their needs and desires. The winery’s goal is to always offer the best experience ever and if we can direct the right person to the winery that best suits their needs, that experience should always meet or exceed expectations! Join CellarPass now and begin that magical journey now!!!
