If you’re a fan of Robert Hess‘ “Classic Cocktails” column in Mutineer Magazine, you’re probably a fan of the killer photos of the cocktails prepared by H. Joseph Ehrmann of San Francisco’s Elixir Saloon (and photographed by Mutineer photog Ian Andreae). Ehrmann is a ninja of the cocktail, and one only needs to try his renowned Bloody Mary to become a believer.
Here is a holiday punch featuring Bols Genever by Ehrmann that is sure to make you the cocktail ninja of your holiday party. Recipe after the jump.
Old Sydney-Town Punch
11 oz. of St. Elizabeth’s Allspice Dram
11 oz. of Orange Juice
16 oz. of Lemon Juice
11 oz. of Pineapple Gum
Place a large piece of block ice in the bowl and let rest, stirring before serving. To make a hot batch, use above recipe and 32 oz. water and warm in a pot, crock pot or soup tureen.
