Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale

For a quick taste of newly released beers, check out the Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale from Stevens Point Brewery in Stevens Point, Wisonson. The brewery, which was founded in 1857, is the fifth-oldest privately owned brewery in the nation and the third-largest craft brewer in Wisconson.

This Pumpkin Ale is their first seasonal installment in their Stevens Point Brewery’s Whole Hog Limited Release Brewmaster’s Series. Brewed with real pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices, the brew has a taste that complements the fall weather, not to mention football game tailgates, Halloween binges, avoiding the family on Thanksgiving and pretending you’re in Munich for Oktoberfest.

While pumpkin ales are still not the most popular fall brews (they still fall a close second to Oktoberfest beers), they’re growing in popularity — and they’re pretty tasty. Enjoy!
