Menu from Atlanta, GA Movie Tavern
The menu from the Atlanta, GA Movie Tavern.

Forget sneaking Red Bull energy shots and Nerds into the movie theater, Movie Tavern, the movie theater that offers food and fine beverages to its patrons, has you covered. There are thirteen locations in six states showing a big selection of new theatrical releases.

Menu from Atlanta, GA Movie Tavern

The Atlanta, Georgia food menu includes the “Blue Thing Frozen Wine Margarita”, merlot, chardonnay, white zinfandel and beer in several sizes, including the mysterious “Tanker” mug that costs $9 to buy, and $7 to $9 to fill up. I want one. Now.

The Alamo Drafthouse (http://www.drafthouse.com) does the same thing in Austin, TX. They’ve even gotten directors like Quentin Tarantino to talk before they show their movie. I think he talked for 15 minutes then they showed Kill Bill 1 & 2 back to back. Looooong night, especially if you have a tanker!

$9 for the mug only! Thats an $18 beer, better be like a 64oz slurpee cup or something for that price.

You get to keep the mug. They are 36 oz class beer steins imported from Austria. 4oz less than a pitcher and you can refill them for much less than the cost of a pitcher, I’d say it’s worth it.
