Things are getting awesome. Mutineer Magazine will soon be carried internationally in Safeway stores. This is HUGE as it is Mutineer Magazine’s first foray into grocery stores, and Safeway is big time distribution that builds on our bookstore and newsstand distribution.
I’ve decided that from now on I’m only shopping at Safeway, or at least until another grocery store starts carrying Mutineer. A grocery cart with a copy of Mutineer Magazine in it is a happy grocery cart.
To illustrate how cool Safeway actually is, check out this Safeway basket-hot air balloon. Do you think that there are any fine beverages in that basket? You bet there are! There’s some Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Safeway Select, Nestea, and the Safeway guy is palming a 1/2 gallon of Minute Made, and I’m going to go ahead and assume that there is a bunch of absinthe in the middle of the basket, we just can’t see it from our angle.
National distribution placements such as this take a couple issues to fully put into place, so please be patient as Mutineer Magazine finds its way into Safeway and other fine magazine sellers across the United States.
