If you’re in the San Francisco area, come hang out with Mutineer Magazine tonight from 7pm-10pm at the Wine 2.0 Expo at Crushpad. I went to the New York version of this event last September and had a great time. Featuring a mix of beverage technology companies and wineries pouring their creations, this party is the real deal. Tickets are still available at the door, SO COME DRINK SOME WINE!
Do I dare even try and capture the epic-ness of the list of companies and wineries involved this time around?
…
Nope…can’t do it! There are THAT many awesome companies and wineries involved. Check out the list for yourself!
For more on Wine 2.0 and its CEO/Founder Cornelius Geary, check out this great new interview on the very cool Vinterviews site.
Also, Wilson Daniels Ltd. will be broadcasting live from the event over the Internet. From the message I received from them on the Open Wine Consortium :
We will be streaming a live video discussion with Grant Burge, fifth-generation vigneron and owner of Grant Burge Wines, Barossa Valley, on ustream from 6 to 8 p.m. PST on Thursday, April 2, at the Wine 2.0 Expo in San Francisco. At the event, attendees can visit our table, taste Grant Burge wines and ask Grant questions via our TokBox live video chat.
For those not attending Wine 2.0, we invite you to watch his video feed online at Wilson Daniels’s Web site and type your questions for Grant directly into the chat box: http://www.wilsondaniels.com/ustream.cfm
Also — if you have a TokBox account, please feel free “call” Wilson Daniels from www.tokbox.com during that time, and we’ll patch you into the web video chat. These are both web video technologies we’ve been experimenting with for a couple of months, so we appreciate your candid feedback.
