Magic Hat and the Night of the Living Dead

Photography by: nra45acp

Trudging through the Vermont countryside in knee high snow listening intently for any noise that seems out of place you finally stumble upon your destination, Magic Hat Brewing Company. With one more glance back you make a break from the tree line and dash across the last hundred feet looking back to make sure the evil one hasn’t spotted you. The door silently swings closed and you let out a heavy sigh of relief knowing that your return journey will be that much easier with your variety pack of Magic Hat Night of the Living Dead brews.

The #9 will take-out even the most rotten of corpses with its high hop content. The smoky nature of Jinx is the perfect defense against witches and the like. Circus Boy will give you amazing acrobatic ability to evade the quicker of the night creatures. The Mystery Beer, I imagine this to be like the canned Schwartz in Spaceballs – an unimaginable power source to render you almost invulnerable to an attack. With these you should be safe on your way back, but drink them sparingly as they are special release beers and are not to be wasted.

    YES YES YES!!!

I’ve had the #9. It’s an amazing brew, super refreshing and great to drink, but you can’t really drink much of it but it smells AMAZING.

As for Circus Boy … I love wheat beers, but honestly I wasn’t feeling it. It was a while ago and I’ve drunk too much Capt’n and Coke to remember what I thought, but I’ll just say I wasn’t a fan. That was several months ago and I’d be more than willing to give it another shot, I just need to get back to my beer shop and get some!

BUT, I’m proud to say I’ve tried 2 of the 4 you’ve listed! Good find, considering I doubt you get much Magic Hat out on the west coast!

the theme between magic hat and zombie is calculating and effective. nice work.

two things: first – I want some MH brew #9 … I hope it’s easier than the finding the slip knot from full sail … I never found any in boulder.

second – as a biker … the zombie gear is on my list for kick ass warm weather riding gear … thanks Mutineer for another great lead on brew and gear.

Gotta agree with Mark, the #9 is my favorite as well. We get plenty of Magic Hat brew here in Jersey and I’m thankful for it!!!

The #9 is amazing served cold on a hot summer day … If you haven’t tried it, I recommend it!
