I see what you’re saying, but Tom doesn’t choose the finalists. A panel of judges is responsible for coming up with the list of finalists, which are chosen by an open nomination process.

Since Mutineer Magazine is a sponsor, I wouldn’t think they’d be allowed to participate? Otherwise I think they’d definitely be in a category or two :) Maybe someone from MM can clear this up for us!
