A Beer Poem

Thu, Jan 22 |

I sit and sip my IPA, mulling over the now gone day.

The hops hit my tongue and lull my mind, I slowly start to unwind.

The beer is good the day is done, now it’s time to have some fun.

I like where your head is at JJ B. Except for me, it’s only the beginning of the day, so I don’t get to have “fun” just yet.

I have always wanted to use ore’ (is that a word?) in writing, you know like mulling ore’ the now gone day. I know, who cares. Nevertheless, I am sure the downtime was well deserved and hope it lived up to your expectations!
    Cheers

Touche’…… how bout that brotha JB ya gotta love it comming from a such a likable wench.

Now I’m walking up the stair I’ve lost my beer, I don’t know where so now I’m walking in despair … it’s not the first I’ve lost today .. I’ll open 1 more IPA. I think the hops have made me faint or maybe it was just the paint … I stepped outside to get some air and saw my beer it’s O’ER there.

My glass runneth over with head,
Whilst I cut up some brie and some bread.
    But resistance runs thin,
So I cave and dive in…
Screw the dog if he needs to be fed. ;-)

You’re word relationship was nailed. Apostrophies move left and right like a good line backer.

It’s snowing in Boulder right now.

    Beer is good.
    It makes me feel free.
    But I drink too much,
    and always have to pee.

    Beer is good.
    It makes me feel free.
    But I drink too much,
    and I feel tipsy.
I fall asleep next to the toilet dizzy.
