1800 Tequila Bottle Design

1800 Tequila is giving you the chance to submit your very own bottle design. The winner gets $10,000 and gets their bottle featured. You can experience the entire process at 1800tequila.com. I took one for the team and explored this opportunity myself, which not only confirmed that this is the real deal, but also yielded three classic tequila bottle designs created by the Wine Mutineer himself.

MUTINEER CUSTOM 3-PACK
1800 Tequila Bottle Design, MutineerMutineer Special Edition
I imagine this being served at the big Mutineer Magazine Launch party in May, 2009 in Los Angeles. Clean and minimal, drinking this will bring out the Mutineer in anyone.

1800 Tequila Bottle Design, VoltronVoltron Edition
Ever since Voltron found out that we aren’t paying him for his contributions, he has been out to break my face. Hopefully this signature bottle will quell his bitter anger.

1800 Tequila Bottle Design, UnicornUnicorn Edition
No creature can match the magnificence of a unicorn, not to mention it is a great conversation starter with everyone coming up and asking, “Dude, why is there a unicorn on this bottle of tequila?”

You mean give the design a name? Hmmmm….it was part of a CD cover I designed for a band, and the album was called Wear a Mask to Face the Daylight, but that don’t make much sense….how about The Birth of Beauty.
