Reminds me of the beer tastings in San Diego. Everyone bringing a bottle of rare or just great beer and tasting the night away. Can't wait to go to the next one myself.

Hey Alan - These guys seem like they can be a lot of fun. Cool Magazine by the way! Maybe in one of your up coming issues you can do an article of wines from Argentina! Let me know.

That copy of "The Wine Bible" is indeed tattered... and its pages are stained with the blood of a irreplaceable bottle of 2003 "Shotfire Ridge" Shiraz from Barossa, the contents of which were dashed over the Bible's pages following an unforeseen interaction within its tote-bag enclosure with a poorly-maintained section of sidewalk -- which, in my haste to arrive on time to a Shiraz varietal tasting, I failed to see. My only consolation is that at least the book smells good.

Thanks for the write-up, Alan. Very pleased that you had a good time. Come back whenever.... you're a Wino in the truest sense of the word, and we loved your company.
