I know what you’re thinking: Really? They are going through with this whole drunk animal week thing? Easy answer: YES. Today’s intoxicated creature is a bird that helped itself to a few too many fermented cherries.

I can say with confidence that birds are the least graceful drunk animal I’ve come across. The squirrel was cute and entertaining when it got buzzed, the bird just looks like both of its legs are broken. The bird is fine of course, better than fine probably, just hanging out in the yard enjoying the afternoon.

It is my prediction that this bird will end up pulling a “Shawn Kemp” if it isn’t careful, which means illegitimate hatchlings in scattered trees all over the yard the next morning….
