It is official, Mutineer Magazine is hitting the road! The adventure, dubbed “Mutineer on Tour”, will hit up wineries in Washington, Oregon, and California, in addition to some distilleries, breweries, bars, and probably a local jail or two. There will be an additional blog detailing the misadventures of our magazine on tour, and this blog will be accessible through the main Mutineer Magazine Blog.
The tour will kick off this week at the Auction of Washington Wines at Chateau Ste. Michelle in Woodinville, WA. After that we will head to the Willamette Valley for a week, which I am really looking forward to because the folks in McMinnville know how to party.
Then we safari to the little known Rogue Valley for the World of Wine Festival, which I sort of don’t understand. It sounds like a global event, but its really a Rogue Valley tasting. It should be called “The Rogue Wine Festival”. Who knows, maybe it is as epic as the name leads on.
Next up is Sonoma for the Sonoma Wine Country Weekend. This is going to be a blast, as are the next ten days spent wandering around Sonoma hunting for killer wine. After that I’ll jaunt over to Napa for a week and a half, swing through Paso Robles, and then disappear into the fortress of solitude better known as the Sierra Nevada Mountains to try and digest everything I had witnessed over the last month and try and regain as much strength as possible before the next leg of the tour… Stay Tuned…
