The Great American Beer Festival

JJ Bagley / Wed, Jul 30

Great American Beer Festival

For beer lovers, this is the Formula One World Championship, the X Games, and the Superbowl all rolled into one massive occasion. For twenty-seven years, the Brewer’s Association has put on one of the world’s largest beer tastings. How large you ask? How about 46,000 attending and over 1,800 beers to sample with only three days to get it all done?

Great American Beer Festival

Held in Denver Colorado, this is the largest and longest running beer festival in America. The beautiful Rocky Mountains are the backdrop for what is sure to be a “highly educational” experience, if only you can remember just what happened.

Great American Beer Festival

Loosed on the festival for the first time this coming October, I will seek to give you a taste of the blood-and-guts reality of attempting to try nearly two thousand beers in just three days. For your own foray into the land of barley, hops, and yeast check here:
